How long will it take for me to receive my photo slideshow?
As long as you quickly send the included pre-paid and pre-addressed package back to 3Boost and promptly approve the video, you will have your Blu-Ray or DVD photo slideshow in two and a half weeks.
If you need the slideshow faster, give 3Boost a call at (682)422-6678, let them know, and you can have your slideshow in under a week at no additonal charge if all your photos are digital.
How do I place an order?
All 3Boost's orders are taken online. When you click the "order now" button anywhere on the site, it will take you to a Google Checkout page where you can make your purchase fast and secure. 3Boost will never see or have access to your credit card information, and they are among the reputable businesses that Google allows to use their system. After the order is placed, 3Boost will send you a package where you can give them all the necesary information (Songs you want, DVD or Blu-Ray, etc.) and send them all your real and digital photos.
Can I include videos in my photo slideshow?
Yes, you can include videos in your Blu-Ray or DVD photo slideshow! The videos do have to be in digital form. Just put the videos you want included on the USB (or in the shared dropbox folder if you choose digital only).
Re-name the video just like you re-name your digital photos. If you don't want the entire video to play, specify the time you want included. For example, if I want a video to play after the 51st photo from minute 2:45 until minute 6:04; I would rename the file from "our wedding.m4v" to "052 2_45-6_04.m4v".
How do I order extra DVDs or Blu-Rays of my photo slideshow?
After 3Boost has completed your photo slideshow, you will recieve a link in your email where you can preview the video online. From there, you can approve the video or request a full refund. This is also where you will be able to order extra copies. Extra DVDs only cost $19.99 each and extra Blu-Rays only cost $24.99 each. The discs come in cases with full color case and disk labels. Shipping is free.
How many photos should I send you to put in the slide show?
It depends on how long you want it to be. On average, your photos will display for 4 seconds. This means that you should send 15 photos for every minute you want the slideshow to last. for example, if you want the slideshow to be 20 minutes, you would send around 300 photos.
How many songs should I request?
That also depends on how long you want the slideshow to be. The average song lasts about 4 minutes, so for a 20 minute slideshow, you would request at least 5 songs. It is reccomended that you request more songs than you think you'll need.
Can I really send unlimited photos?
You can send as many photos as you can fit in the prepaid package we send and on the inluded thumbdrive. That being said, the maximum length of the slideshow is one hour, so you shouldn't send us more than 900 photos.
How are you able to offer any music I request?
We buy the songs off of either iTunes or Amazon each time they are requested. The songs are on us, and don't cost you any extra.
How is shipping handled?
When we receive an order, we ship a prepaid package with a thumbdrive to the customer. This is a USPS flat rate package that is pre-addressed to 3Boost, so "if it fits, it ships."
Put as many photos as you want included in the slideshow in the package and on the thumbdrive. Then put the package in your mailbox for the mailman to pick up. When we receive your photos, we produce the slideshow and ship you the DVD or Blu-Ray with all your photos.
How are you so much less expensive than everyone else?
We have a much smaller profit margin than our competitors, but we make up for it in volume. We are also much more efficient because we use state of the art equipment (for example: high speed professional Kodak photo scanners).
Each video producer also works on three Macs at the same time so they aren't ever waiting on video to render (which takes a long time, even on high end machines).
How do refunds work?
After we finish your video, we send you an email with a link to where you can view a preview. You have two days to preview the video, and If you aren't satisfied with our work, you can request a refund with one click. Thats it.
We refund all your money and ship your photos back to you. Allthough we would be a little sad, we promise no hard feelings. There are no refunds after we ship the DVD or Blu-Ray.
Why don't you offer refunds after you ship the disk?
We wish we could, and we certainly don't want to take any customer's hard earned money who isn't thrilled with our results. Unfortunataly, there are people out there that would take advantage of such a system by copying the disk and asking for a refund.
We work hard on these videos. We also spend money each time on shipping, supplies, and music; so refunding after the disk is shipped isn't an option for us.
How do I let you know the order I want my photos to display?
Simply stack your photos in the order you want them to play in the slideshow with the photo you want to play first on top.
If you include digital photos that you put on the supplied thumbdrive, you must change the filename to the number that represents the position you want it to appear.
For example, if you have a photo named "3rdBDay.jpg", and you wanted it to appear 5th in the slideshow; you would rename the file "005.jpg". If you wanted it to be 15th, you would name it "015.jpg". If you wanted it to be 115th in the slideshow, you would remame the file "115.jpg".
How do I let you know the music I want in the Slide Show?
We include a form with the package we send you where you can write down the music you want. Just let us know the artists and song titles in the order you want the songs to play.
How do I let you know of a caption I want to appear in the slideshow?
For real photos, simply write the caption on one of the included sticky notes and stick it to the back of the photo. For digital photos, rename the photo with the caption.
For example, if you want the caption, "First time at the park" to appear on the 45th photo in the slideshow, you would rename the file from "dscn0194.jpg" to "045 First time at the park.jpg"
